Our Jerk Chicken may be eaten cold, however, tradition dictates eating it directly from the grill.
Reheating Instructions: For best results, reheat from chilled;
On the BBQ Grill: Remove contents from packaging and place the chicken on the grill at medium heat. Do not place over direct open flames. Reheat for 15-20 minutes, turning often to ensure it does not burn or become dry. Use a probe to ensure chicken is reheated to a minimum temperature of 70°C before serving.
Oven: Remove outer packaging and film lid. Pour approx. 2-3 serving spoons of water into the aluminium tray, cover tightly with foil. Place the aluminium tray onto a baking tray and place it in the middle of the oven. Set temperature at minimum 190°C (375°F) or gas mark 5, for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven after reheating time and serve. (Caution container and contents will be hot).
Microwave: Remove contents from packaging and place contents in a suitable container, heat for between 3-5 minutes. Check to ensure chicken is piping hot throughout before consuming. Please allow standing for 30 seconds before eating (based on an 800W oven). These are guidelines only, appliances may vary.
Storage conditions – Keep Frozen, once defrosted use within 7 days, do not re-freeze.
